One Book, One City for Kids is an annual reading program that encourages all 5th graders in the city to read and discuss the same book. The program also strives to encourage a lifelong love of reading among students, to inspire readers to bring story ideas and themes to life through discussion, and to build collaborative ties between public libraries, school libraries, and area schools. This year the entire city will be reading The Epic Fail of Arturo Zamora by Pablo Cartaya.

Daniel@ The Mulick Park Arturo's feelings about Carmen have changed from the start by how in the beginning of the story Arturo would feel like his stomach was a deep fryer, or how he would freeze in place when Carmen would kiss him on each cheek to greet him or to say good by to him. near the end Arturo did would not get so bubbly on the insides or freeze in place at all when Carmen would greet him or say good bye by kissing him on each cheek, he said he is really not interested in Carmen, and how he said Carmen was not the lanky, mutant-fast cheetah he used to know. I found my answers on pages 8 paragraph 1, page 38 last sentence, page 35 paragraph 2, and page 7 last sentence. This means this is how Arturo's feelings about Carmen have changed from the beginning to the end of the story.
